My name is Reed Jones. I'm an oil painter and pastel artist working from my Madison, Wisconsin and Nokomis, Florida studios.
I paint images that interest and challenge me, from portraits to cityscapes and landscapes. The rolling Wisconsin countryside and stark Florida scrub-land are frequent subjects, although any scene of interest, anywhere, is fair game. If I can paint an image in my head first, I will choose it for the real thing.
